Edited: My dad saw these in my yard and kept commenting on them. I bought him some for Father's Day, he absolutely loves them. The pictures do not do them justice. Also, two weeks ago we had a storm that knocked out power. I went and grabbed 3 and brought them in my house and grabbed 3 more and brought them to my neighbor. They lasted for 2 days in the house with no charge AND lit up an entire room.
Ideas for my husband's first father's day?
I know as a father I like having a special day with my kids, a special gift with my kids...a special dinner...then a special gift from my wife at the end of the night. I am not sure what your budget is. For me I like going to nice restaurants. Since your baby is so young maybe you can get a gift from your baby...maybe a picture on a key chain or mug...something he can take and show others. Then you can give him a gift from you...maybe an Xbox game or a new game chair with surround sound (it's hard find out which games we like, so accessories work better). Lastly, put your baby to bed and make the best love to him you ever have...and TELL HIM how amazing his is to you and his son.

Father's day angel food cake - what to do?
Additional ingredients for Cherry Angel Dessert: 1 large can of cherry pie filling 1 large pkg. of instant vanilla Jell-O pudding mix 1-3/4 cups of milk 8 oz. sour cream chocolate fudge syrup Cool Whip If you have a trifle bowl, cut up your angel food cake into cubes and layer some on the bottom. Next spoon on some cherry pie filling. Mix the pudding, milk and sour cream in a bowl. (Do not mix this until you are ready for it, it sets up pretty fast.) Spoon on some pudding and spread out with a spatula and add remaining cake cubes, cherry filling and pudding. Chill for about 30 minutes to 1 hr. Before serving, swirl on some chocolate fudge syrup. Serve with a dollop of Cool Whip on top.
