Higher quality bulbs. Virtually all of today's solar post light use Light Emitting Diodes or LEDs. LEDs are much more efficient than traditional fluorescent, incandescent, halogen or other bulbs. LEDs are famous for transferring percentages of energy into light that are much higher than the other bulbs and with virtually no heat generated. LEDs also last much longer than all the other types of bulbs.
